Pastor Mark and Alisha Dennis
Mark and Alisha were business owners in Scappoose before accepting the call to serve at Calvary in 2016. The two of them lead our church with hearts devoted to Christ and serving others! They also love to travel and camp as hobbies.
Pastor Phil and Kimberly Mann
Phil and Kimberly have lived in the hills west of Scappoose since 2003. Having retired from full-time pastoral work, Phil now enjoys serving as an assistant part-time pastor at Calvary. Kimberly has a vital ministry as well with children, women, and seniors in our community. Together they are glad to be part of a caring community at Calvary!
OUR CHURCH VISION
As we read the Bible, I’m impressed how much flexibility God gives us in our coming together as His people. He’ll let us pick the language, the building structure, the songs. But there are a few things God wants to see in a church that glorifies Him and carries His name.
The core elements of God’s vision can be summed up in this way: Believe, Belong, Bless.
We believe when we seek to know and trust our God. We belong when we care for one another in the church. We bless the world when we take the kingdom of God to those outside the church.
When we do this, all the small stuff stays small and Christ looms large amongst us!
